Hotelzon, one of the world’s leading corporate online hotel booking companies, is to launch a live online booking tool for meeting rooms. The online booking system, ‘Hotelzon Venues’, will attract both corporate clients who simply want to book a meeting room online and agents who can use it as a venue finding tool. Also venues such as hotels and conference centres can implement this as another channel to attract meetings business. Meeting rooms can be searched using various criteria and advanced search options include seating styles, postal code and duration of meeting. Search results provide a list of available venues as well as images with descriptions, details of capacity and video conferencing facilities. One aspect of the booking tool will be to provide virtual meeting facilities, enabling the booker to ensure technological compatibility when booking multiple venues globally.
Hotelzon is already working with venue providers of major meetings to enable content upload and to develop the distribution channel, and the online conference booking tool will be released to Hotelzon customers in April 2010. « Back |
