The CORE Congress & Events 2010 fair will bring a new dimension to the organisation of congresses and events. This new event will be organised in September, alongside S & A 2010 (an annual exhibition for secretaries and assistants) and GIMME 2010 (a special exhibition of promotions and gifts). This three-event package is certain to be of interest to both companies and individual visitors.

International congresses are of major benefit to Finland's economy and image. The largest international conferences are generally gatherings of star scholars and experts, which Finnish learned societies seek to host. Arranging and bidding for conferences require professional assistance and competencies. The Finnish Fair Corporation has agreed on cooperation with the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies, based on which a Congress Academy will be organised as part of CORE Congress & Events 2010. Training participants will learn about e.g. funding, financial management and the marketing of congresses.

As Finland’s biggest meeting and congress venue, Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre is the ideal location for this event, placing its own congress and event skills at the disposal of the guests. The concurrent events will bring value added not only to the exhibitors involved, but also to visiting professionals representing the industry.
